When is the FA Cup semi-final draw?

This weekend sees eight teams try to earn a place in this year’s semi-finals and we’ve already seen some big teams secure a place at Wembley.

Both Tottenham and managed to get wins on Saturday whilst today’s action sees Wigan face Southampton and host Chelsea.

Last year’s winners suffered a shock defeat against Nottingham Forrest in the third round of the tournament, whilst Manchester City were knocked out by Wigan last month.

The draw to decide the semi-final fixtures is set to take place this weekend, so how can you watch it and which numbers should you be looking out for?

When is the FA Cup semi final draw?

This year the draw for the semi-finals will take place on Sunday 18th March following the match between Leicester City and Chelsea.

This means that you can expect it to be held at around 18:15, unless the match goes to extra time or penalties.

The fixtures will then be held on the weekend o 21st-22nd April, with the two winning teams progressing to the final at Wembley on Saturday 19th May.

What channel will the FA Cup draw be on?

The draw will take place live on One and it will be conducted by Chelsea legends Gianfranco Zola and Petr Cech.

Zola has won the trophy on two occasions with the Blues, whilst Cech has lifted the FA Cup five times in total.
